Van Hise Elementary Supply List 2025-2026

Personal items (please label with your child’s name):

• Full -sized backpack (13.75” x 7.5” x 17”), large enough to fit a folder without bending for your child (NO WHEELS – they will not fit in the locker)
• 2 Spare changes of clothing in labeled zipper plastic bags (Ziploc preferred); one for warmer weather and one for cooler weather (for accidents – they happen!)
• 1 pair of inside gym shoes your child can independently put on (many kindergarteners do great with velcro), to keep in your child’s locker

Classroom Supplies ( these items should not be labeled ):

• 2 24-count boxes of crayons (Crayola preferred)
• 2 plastic, 2-pocket folders (plain, no designs); one purple and one blue
• 2 12-packs of washable glue sticks (Elmer’s Washable preferred, 24 glue sticks total)
• 5 boxes of washable classic colors markers (Crayola preferred) (10 count, thick) not labeled, NOT tropical or bright colors
• 1 Solid Color Spiral Notebook, Wide Rule
• 1 package dry-erase markers (Expo brand preferred)
• 1 box of Facial Tissues
• 1 box of Gallon-size Zipper Bags (your brand choice) (Last Name A-M)
• 1 box of Quart-size Zipper Bags (your brand choice) (Last Name N-Z)
• 2 rolls clear scotch tape
